Arpel Studio was founded by Adriana Pellegrino, a New York–based designer + curator whose path to design began long before the studio itself.

After five years of practicing law, Adriana made the decision to pursue a lifelong passion for interiors. Always drawn to the relationship between people + their surroundings, she left the legal field to set off to build a thoughtful curation of distinctive pieces.

With a background shaped by research + examination, Adriana brought the same astute curiosity from her legal career into her study of interiors. She quickly immersed herself in sourcing antique furniture + developing a distinct design perspective rooted in sculptural forms + material-forward  spaces. 

At the heart of Arpel is a fascination with objects that command attention. Through Arpel, Adriana explores the studied relationship between spaces + the objects that inhabit them. Her approach balances a sense of restraint with romance, creating interiors that are both understated + dramatic. 

What began as a long-held creative instinct has become Arpel: a practice focused on creating spaces with pieces that feel expressive + delightfully unexpected.
